History and Facilities
Irish International School Hermosillo began its operations on September 06, 1994. It is a Catholic Institution that is part of the «Semper Altius» Network Schools of the Regnum Christi Movement, with 30 years of service in the Centric Christ formation in Hermosillo, Sonora, providing an education based on the principles of Christian humanism. It started with a preschool alongside first, second, third and fourth grade in elementary, then along the years middle school and high school were opened.
Irish International School Hermosillo has a total of 55 classrooms, 1 science lab and STEAM Makerspace, a cafeteria, 2 oratories, a brand new building for the main offices plus 42 offices distributed across the four buildings and a total of 16 soccer fields, 6 basketball and volleyball court as well as 2 main entrances and two parking lots. The facilities of high school were built during the pandemic. This is all in an area of 133,391.45m2, 17,550m2 hold the facilities in four buildings.
